The Project
The project began in November 2001 and was co-ordinated and part-funded by the Consortium of Welsh Library and Information Services (CWLIS). The major funding was provided by the New Opportunities Fund. The aim of the project was to develop an interesting bilingual website which would be a focal point for community information in Wales. The project team contacted numerous organisations such as museums, archives, libraries, community and voluntary organisations to gather material that recorded aspects of community life such as leisure and sport, events, local history and culture.

All rights are kept by the present holders, but use of website material is permitted for educational use.
